I'm a certified fangirl. My credentials? Used to own fan accounts, have an embarrassing video of me crying over a Justin Bieber cutout on YouTube, have rewatched all my comfort shows—Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill—three times, and I spent way too much money on Eras Tour tickets last year. So, when I visited NYC in October, naturally, I scouted all the fangirl stops I could find.
Planning a trip to NYC? Here's all the fangirl destinations significant to your favorite artists, shows, and movies.
Central Park Lake

This is a landmark from many movies and TV shows, but my personal favorites are Enchanted and the shoutout from Taylor Swift in "The Bolter."
The Met

This a no-brainer for Gossip Girl fans. Every morning Serena and Blair would eat breakfast before they went off to their very exclusive and expensive school.
Grand Central Station

Another Gossip Girl staple, Grand Central Station is the opening scene of the hit show. XOXO!
The Plaza Hotel

You're probably sensing a pattern, but this is where the Van Der Woodsen family called home in Gossip Girl. You can just taste the drama when you visit it.
Friends Apartment Building

Located in the West Village, the Friends apartment building for lovers of the early 2000s sitcom. When visiting, you're immediately transported into the chaos of the iconic friend group.
Housing Works Bookstore

The scene of the crime, aka the filming location for "All Too Well" short film by Taylor Swift is the Housing Works Bookstore in SoHo. You can almost feel the angst of Taylor's Red era when you walk in.
Cornelia Street

Can you tell I'm a Swiftie? Here lies one of the best songs from her discography, IMO. Cornelia Street is the inspo for "Cornelia Street" and the charm of the surrounding neighborhood helps you understand why Swift wrote a love song based on this street.
